Overview
Thistle is a central character in Dungeon Meshi (Delicious in Dungeon), known as the powerful and tragic ruler of the Golden Country beneath the dungeon. Once a human magician and close attendant to the ancient elven lord Delgal, Thistle became deeply devoted to preserving the kingdom and its ideals after losing everything. In the series, he serves as a major antagonist whose magic and control over the dungeon shape much of the story’s conflict, while his backstory adds emotional depth and tragedy to the world.
