Overview
Loftbirds are large, bird-like flying creatures in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword that serve as the main aerial mounts for the people of Skyloft. Kurenai-zoku no Loftbird refers to a red-colored Loftbird variant associated with the Crimson Loftwing. In the story, Loftbirds play an important role in transportation, exploration, and the Link’s training and travel across the sky. They are not individual named characters, but a species that supports the hero’s journey and the daily life of Skyloft’s residents.
