Overview
Yumi Fukuzawa is a central protagonist in Maria-sama ga Miteru. She is a first-year student at Lillian Girls' Academy and becomes involved with the Yamayurikai, the student council of the school’s upperclassmen. Gentle, earnest, and often nervous, Yumi serves as the audience’s entry point into the refined but emotionally complex world of the series. Her relationship with Sachiko Ogasawara is especially important, shaping much of the story’s drama, growth, and romantic tension.
