Overview
Saichoro, known in English as the Grand Elder or Grand Elder Guru, is the eldest Namekian and the spiritual leader of Namek on Planet Namek in Dragon Ball Z. He is a wise, benevolent figure who guards the Namekian Dragon Balls and possesses immense psychic abilities. Though physically frail and immobile, he plays a crucial role in awakening latent power in others, most notably helping Krillin, Gohan, and Dende during the Namek saga. His guidance and authority are central to the conflict against Frieza.
