Overview
Yukio Tanaka is the main protagonist of BECK: Mongolian Chop Squad. A quiet, ordinary middle school boy, he is drawn into the world of rock music after meeting the guitarist Ryusuke Minami and the dog Beck. Yukio becomes the band’s vocalist and rhythm guitarist, growing from an uncertain teenager into a passionate musician. His journey centers on self-discovery, friendship, and the struggle to pursue music seriously despite everyday pressures and obstacles.
