Overview

Megalon is a giant kaiju from the Godzilla series, first appearing in the 1973 film "Godzilla vs. Megalon." He is an insect-like deity of the underground kingdom Seatopia, summoned to attack the surface world after the kingdom is threatened. Megalon can burrow through the earth, fly using jet-like horns, and fire explosive energy from his claws and mouth. As an antagonist, he serves as one of Godzilla's main opponents in the film and represents Seatopia's wrath against humanity.
