Overview
Orthros is a recurring comedic monster character in Final Fantasy VI, known as a giant, purple, octopus-like creature with a vain and theatrical personality. He serves as one of the Empire’s oddball enemies and appears multiple times as a boss encounter, often alongside his rival/chaperone Chupon. Orthros is memorable for his exaggerated speech, cowardly behavior, and tendency to cause trouble for the heroes while providing comic relief throughout the game.
