Overview

Ryu-oh, known in Japanese as りゅうおう, is the main antagonist of the first Dragon Quest game and one of the most iconic villains in the franchise. He is a powerful Dragonlord who seeks to plunge the world into darkness and challenge the hero’s quest to restore peace. In the story, he rules from his castle, commands monsters, and serves as the final enemy the player must defeat to save Alefgard.
