Jerry is the clever, mischievous brown house mouse from the classic animated series Tom and Jerry. He is the main rival of Tom the cat and is known for his quick thinking, agility, and ability to outsmart stronger opponents. Although he often causes trouble, Jerry is usually portrayed as sympathetic and resourceful, defending himself against Tom’s constant attempts to catch him. He serves as one of the two central characters in the series and drives much of its slapstick comedy.
