Overview
Retsuko Goto, known simply as Retsuko, is the main character of Aggressive Retsuko (Aggretsuko). She is a red panda who works as an accounting clerk at a large trading company and copes with workplace stress, social pressure, and frustration by singing death metal at karaoke. Her character serves as the central lens for the series’ satire of office life, gender expectations, and modern burnout, balancing relatable everyday struggles with comedic emotional outbursts.
