Overview
RB-79 Ball is a fictional mobile suit from Kidou Senshi Gundam, used by the Earth Federation during the One Year War. It is a simple, low-cost support unit designed for space combat, armed mainly with a cannon and machine guns. The Ball is not a humanoid Gundam-type machine, but a practical mass-production vehicle meant to provide fire support and anti-mobile suit assistance. In the series, it represents the Federation’s desperation and the harsh reality of war.
