Overview
Tonkatsu is a character from Sumikko Gurashi, a franchise centered on shy, comforting beings who prefer the corners of rooms. He is a leftover piece of pork cutlet with a timid, soft-hearted personality and a slightly melancholy backstory, since he is mostly made of fat and breadcrumbs rather than meat. In the series, Tonkatsu adds humor and warmth as one of the main Sumikko characters, often representing feelings of being overlooked while still finding friendship and belonging.
