Overview
Gamu Takayama is the main protagonist of Ultraman Gaia. He is a brilliant and determined young member of the XIG anti-monster defense team who becomes the host of Ultraman Gaia, one of the two central Ultra warriors in the series. Gamu’s role is to protect Earth from monstrous threats and the mysterious destruction brought by radical forces. He is characterized by his courage, intelligence, and strong sense of justice, often balancing his human life with his duty as Gaia.
