Overview
Kojirou, known as James in the English Pokémon series, is a recurring member of Team Rocket in Pocket Monsters. He is a comic-relief antagonist who, alongside Musashi and Nyarth, repeatedly tries to capture Pikachu and other Pokémon, usually failing in humorous ways. Despite his villainous role, he is portrayed as kind-hearted, dramatic, and often more sensitive than his teammates. He serves as one of the franchise’s most recognizable supporting characters and a major source of running gags and recurring comedy.
