Overview

Simon is the main protagonist of Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. He starts as a timid, overlooked digger living underground, but gradually grows into a confident leader and heroic pilot. Guided by Kamina’s inspiration and his own determination, Simon becomes central to humanity’s struggle against the Beastmen and later larger cosmic threats. His role in the series is that of the emotional core and ultimate symbol of perseverance, growth, and the power to keep moving forward.
