Overview
Ultimo is the title character and one of the central beings in Karakuri Dōji Ultimo. He is an advanced mechanical doll, or karakuri dōji, created as part of a conflict between opposing forces of good and evil. In the story, Ultimo appears as a powerful, enigmatic boy-like automaton who becomes connected to Yamato, helping drive the series’ main plot. He serves as both a combatant and a symbol of the series’ themes about morality, choice, and the nature of ultimate power.
