Overview
Haise Sasaki is the protagonist of the anime series Tokyo Ghoul:re, which is a sequel to Tokyo Ghoul. He is a First Class Ghoul Investigator and the mentor of the Quinx Squad, a group of CCG investigators who have undergone surgery to use ghoul-like abilities. Haise is a kind and caring individual, though he often struggles with his identity and past memories, as he is actually Ken Kaneki, a half-ghoul who lost his memory after a traumatic event. His complex nature and inner conflict drive much of the series' narrative.
