Overview
Isamu Nitta is a major character in Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne. He is a close friend of the protagonist and one of the other humans caught in the Conception, the event that transforms the world. Isamu is intelligent, emotionally fragile, and increasingly driven by fear, pride, and a desire to survive on his own terms. Throughout the story, he becomes a rival and ideological contrast to the protagonist, representing a path shaped by isolation, self-preservation, and personal insecurity.
