Overview
The RGM-79 GM is a mass-produced mobile suit from Kidou Senshi Gundam, developed by the Earth Federation as a more affordable counterpart to the Gundam. It serves as the backbone of Federation forces during the One Year War, appearing in large numbers in battle. Although not a single character, the GM represents the standard frontline unit and the shift toward mass production in mobile suit warfare. Its role is to support main pilots and demonstrate the practical military value of mobile suits.
