Overview
YoRHa No. 9 Type S, often called 9S, is a YoRHa android scanner unit from NieR:Automata. He is highly intelligent, curious, and skilled at infiltration, hacking, and reconnaissance, making him a key support member in the battle against machine lifeforms. Throughout the story, 9S serves as one of the main protagonists and forms a close bond with 2B. His role becomes increasingly important as he uncovers hidden truths about the war, YoRHa, and the nature of android existence.
