Overview
Giovanni is the main protagonist of Ginga Tetsudou no Yoru (Night on the Galactic Railroad). He is a quiet, thoughtful boy who feels lonely and misunderstood in everyday life. After boarding the mysterious galactic train, he embarks on a dreamlike journey through the stars with his friend Campanella. Through this surreal voyage, Giovanni becomes the audience’s emotional center, reflecting themes of grief, friendship, sacrifice, and the search for meaning.
