Overview
Nanashi is the nameless wandering swordsman and the protagonist of Sword of the Stranger. He is a quiet, skilled ronin who avoids revealing his past, choosing to live without a name after a troubled history. While escorting a young boy named Kotaro, he becomes entangled in a conflict with dangerous warriors and Ming assassins. Throughout the film, Nanashi serves as the reluctant protector and central hero, embodying restraint, honor, and self-sacrifice.
