Overview
Sawako Yamanaka is a supporting character in K-On! who works at Sakuragaoka High School as the music teacher and advisor to the Light Music Club. Although she often appears strict or awkward in her professional role, she has a playful, eccentric side and a past as a rock musician. She helps guide the club, provides instruments and advice, and occasionally gets dragged into the members’ antics. Her dual image as a responsible teacher and a former wild performer makes her a memorable comedic presence in the series.
