Kyuubey is a mysterious, cat-like alien creature in Puella Magi Madoka Magica who acts as the Incubator for magical girls. He recruits girls by offering them a wish in exchange for becoming magical girls and fighting witches. Calm, logical, and emotionally detached, Kyuubey plays a central role in driving the series’ plot and revealing its darker themes about sacrifice, exploitation, and the cost of hope.
