Overview
Puar is a recurring supporting character in Dragon Ball. He is a blue, shape-shifting cat-like creature and the loyal companion of Yamcha. Introduced early in the series, Puar often travels with Yamcha and provides comic relief, but he also helps in battles and rescues by transforming into objects or disguises. He is part of the original cast from the desert bandit era and remains a familiar side character throughout the franchise, especially in Dragon Ball’s adventure and comedy-driven early arcs.
