Overview
Mephiles the Dark is a major antagonist in Sonic the Hedgehog (especially Sonic the Hedgehog 2006). He is a shadowy, sentient being born from the chaos of Solaris and split into a separate entity. Intelligent, manipulative, and cruel, Mephiles plays a central role in the game’s time-travel plot by deceiving characters and trying to reshape the future. He is known for his dark, serpentine form and his obsession with revenge, making him one of Sonic’s most dangerous enemies.
