Vortex is a Decepticon helicopter and one of the Combaticons in the Transformers franchise. He is known for his aggressive, chaotic personality and his role as an aerial assault specialist. In many versions, Vortex combines with the other Combaticons to form Bruticus, serving as the team’s scout, interrogator, and attack support. He is often portrayed as brutal and unstable, enjoying disorder and combat, which makes him a dangerous enemy to the Autobots.
