Ideon is the titular giant humanoid mecha from Densetsu Kyojin Ideon, rather than a human character with a standard personal name. It serves as the central weapon and mystery of the series, powered by the enigmatic Ide energy and capable of immense destructive force. Throughout the story, it is piloted by the Buff Clan and later associated with the Earth refugees, becoming the focal point of the conflict.
