Overview
Himawari Furutani is a supporting character in YuruYuri, a slice-of-life comedy series about the Amusement Club and its everyday school antics. She is a disciplined, elegant student and the student council president at Nanamori Middle School. Himawari often acts serious and refined, but she is also easily flustered, especially around her close friend Sakurako. Her role in the series is to provide a contrast to the more chaotic cast while contributing to the comedy through her tsundere reactions and awkward interactions.
