Overview
Taikoubou is the main protagonist of Houshin Engi, a clever and often lazy-looking Taoist who is tasked with carrying out the Houshin Project to seal away dangerous immortals and restore order to the world. Though he appears carefree, he is highly intelligent, resourceful, and skilled in strategy and spellcasting. Throughout the series, he serves as a guide and leader to his allies, often solving problems through wit rather than brute force.
