Overview
Kei Hirano, commonly referred to as 'Ah-kun,' is a main character in the anime and light novel series Moetan. He is a high school student and the childhood friend of the protagonist, Ink Nijihara. Ah-kun is the object of Ink's affection, though he remains mostly oblivious to her feelings. Despite his average appearance and demeanor, Kei often finds himself involved in the magical adventures surrounding Ink and the English language lessons that form the core of the series.
