Ryuuji Takasu is the main male protagonist of the anime and light novel series Toradora!. A high school student, he is often misunderstood because of his intimidating eyes, which give him a delinquent appearance. Despite this, Ryuuji is actually gentle, responsible, and an excellent cook. Throughout the series, he forms an unlikely friendship and alliance with Taiga Aisaka as they help each other pursue their respective crushes, leading to personal growth and a deepening bond between them.
