Overview
Ganta Igarashi is the protagonist of the anime and manga series Deadman Wonderland. Initially a regular middle school student, Ganta’s life changes drastically when his entire class is massacred and he is wrongfully convicted for the crime. Sent to the mysterious Deadman Wonderland prison, he discovers his own unique Branch of Sin ability. Throughout the series, Ganta seeks to clear his name, survive the prison’s brutal environment, and uncover the truth behind the Red Man, while forming deep bonds with other inmates.
