Overview
Nyako Nekojiru is the main protagonist of the surreal anime series 'Nekojiru Gekijou' (Cat Soup Theatre). She is a white anthropomorphic cat with a stoic demeanor and a mischievous streak. Nyako often finds herself in bizarre, dreamlike situations, accompanied by her younger brother Nyatta. Her actions and reactions drive much of the narrative's dark humor, and she embodies the series’ unique blend of innocence and absurdity. Nyako’s experiences reflect the show’s themes of existentialism and the absurdity of everyday life.
