Gliger is a dual-type Ground/Flying Pokémon from the Pocket Monsters (Pokémon) series, first introduced in Generation II. Known as the 'FlyScorpion Pokémon,' Gliger resembles a purple, bat-like scorpion with large pincers and wings. In the anime, Gliger is notable for its energetic and mischievous personality, and Ash Ketchum catches one during the Diamond and Pearl series.
