Haseo Kuzumi is the protagonist of the .hack//G.U. series, which is part of the larger .hack multimedia franchise. In the real world, his name is Ryou Misaki, but he is best known by his in-game avatar, Haseo. He is a skilled player in the MMORPG 'The World R:2,' known for his relentless pursuit of the mysterious player killer, Tri-Edge, after his friend Shino falls into a coma.
