Sougo Okita is a prominent character in the anime series Gintama. He is a member of the Shinsengumi, a police force in Edo, and holds the rank of First Division Captain. Known for his exceptional swordsmanship and combat skills, Sougo often displays a sadistic personality, especially towards his superior, Hijikata. Despite his seemingly cold demeanor, he is deeply loyal to the Shinsengumi and its members.
