Overview
Lying Figure is a grotesque monster from the video game series Silent Hill, first appearing in Silent Hill 2. Representing the protagonist James Sunderland's inner turmoil and guilt, the Lying Figure is encased in a straitjacket-like skin and emits acidic spray from its chest. It is one of the earliest and most iconic enemies encountered in the fog-shrouded town of Silent Hill, embodying the psychological horror and disturbing imagery that define the series.
