Joe Nanbu, known simply as 'Joe' in the series Megalo Box, is the main protagonist and a passionate underground fighter. Originally going by the ring name 'Junk Dog,' Joe enters the Megalonia tournament to challenge the system and prove himself against the best. Despite his rough beginnings and struggles with identity and belonging, Joe's determination, resilience, and fighting spirit inspire those around him. His journey is central to the series, as he faces powerful opponents and overcomes personal obstacles.
