Overview
Lucy Kohta, known simply as Lucy, is a central character in the anime and manga series Elfen Lied. She is a Diclonius, a new species of human with invisible telekinetic arms called vectors. Lucy's tragic past and experiences of abuse and isolation drive much of the series' plot. She struggles with her violent nature and her longing for acceptance, especially in relation to Kouta, the main protagonist. Her complex character embodies themes of trauma, identity, and redemption.
