He holds the rank of Octava (Eighth) Espada under Sosuke Aizen, specializing in scientific research and analysis. Known for his intelligence, sadistic personality, and obsession with experimentation, Szayelaporro serves as one of the primary antagonists during the Hueco Mundo arc. He is the younger brother of Yylfordt Granz and is infamous for his cunning strategies and cruel methods in battle.
