Spinel Sun is a magical creature from the anime and manga series Cardcaptor Sakura. Created by Eriol Hiiragizawa, Spinel is one of two guardians that assist Eriol during his time in Tomoeda. He takes the form of a small, blue, winged cat with a calm and intelligent demeanor. Despite his serious personality, Spinel has a weakness for sweets, which causes him to become hyperactive and unpredictable. He plays a supporting role in the series, often helping Eriol with his plans.
