Overview
Ren Kumoto, also known as Kyuuta, is the young protagonist of the anime film 'Bakemono no Ko' (The Boy and the Beast). After losing his mother, Ren runs away from home and stumbles into the Beast Kingdom, where he is taken in by the beast Kumatetsu. Ren, renamed Kyuuta by his mentor, becomes his apprentice and gradually finds purpose and belonging. The story follows Ren's growth, his struggle with loneliness, and his journey of self-discovery and acceptance.
