Haruko Haruhara is a central character in the anime series FLCL (Furi Kuri). She is a mysterious, unpredictable woman who arrives in the town of Mabase, causing chaos in the life of the protagonist, Naota Nandaba. Haruko is actually an alien investigator for the Galactic Space Police Brotherhood and wields a blue bass guitar as a weapon. Her eccentric behavior and enigmatic motives drive much of the surreal and energetic plot, making her one of the most memorable figures in the series.
