Overview
Ren Moriyama, also known as Kyuuta (九太), is the protagonist of the anime film 'Bakemono no Ko' (The Boy and the Beast). After losing his mother, Ren runs away and stumbles into the Beast Kingdom, where he becomes the apprentice of the beast Kumatetsu. Under the name Kyuuta, Ren learns about strength, family, and belonging, ultimately bridging the gap between the human and beast worlds. His journey is central to the film's coming-of-age and self-discovery themes.
