Overview
Keiichi Maebara is the main protagonist of the anime series 'Higurashi no Naku Koro ni' (When They Cry). He is a cheerful and outspoken high school student who recently moved to the rural village of Hinamizawa. Keiichi quickly becomes friends with several classmates but soon finds himself entangled in the village's dark secrets and mysterious events. His curiosity and determination drive much of the story, as he struggles to unravel the truth behind a series of gruesome incidents.
