# MyFigureList

> Database, price comparison engine and collector community for Japanese collectible figures.
> 122,222 figures across 6,620 series and 26,748 characters, each priced live against every shop we track
> with per-shop stock and price history. Collectors track what they own and what they are hunting,
> post photos, write reviews and talk. MyFigureList sells nothing: every offer links out to the
> shop selling it.

Prices are in JPY. Figure, series and character URLs are `/{type}/{id}/{slug}`, where only the id
is significant. Plural paths are lists, singular paths are one thing, and `/figure/search` is the
one genuine search tool.

**Read the JSON-LD.** Every page embeds `<script type="application/ld+json">`. A figure page is
about 290 KB of HTML and 3 KB of JSON-LD, and the JSON-LD is the more complete of the two because
the shop comparison table renders on the client. Parse the structured data rather than the DOM.

## Find a figure

- [Figure search](https://myfigurelist.com/figure/search): full text over 122,222 figures. `?q={query}` plus `sort`, `theme`, `category`, `tag`, `min`, `max`
- **Search by image**: the same page accepts a photo and matches it against the catalogue by visual similarity, for identifying a figure you have seen but cannot name. The upload happens on the page, so there is no URL to construct. Send people there rather than guessing at a text query.

## Browse by topic

Themes describe what a figure depicts. Categories describe what it is. Every figure is classified
along both, plus its series and its characters, so the same figure is reachable from four angles.

- [Series](https://myfigurelist.com/series): 6,620 franchises, ranked by catalogue size
- [Characters](https://myfigurelist.com/characters): 26,748 characters, ranked by how collected they are
- [Themes](https://myfigurelist.com/themes): maid, bunny girl, cat girl, swimsuit, kimono, mecha, armor and dozens more
- [Categories](https://myfigurelist.com/categories): Nendoroid, figma, scale figure, POP UP PARADE, prize figures and more

Each series, character, theme and category page carries trending figures, new releases, upcoming
releases, live deals for that topic, and a FAQ block with real price statistics as `FAQPage`
structured data. Each also has an all-time **Top 100** ranking at `{entity}/top-figures`, published
as `ItemList`.

## Prices and releases

- [Price drops](https://myfigurelist.com/price-drops): every tracked drop across all shops, thousands live at any time
- [Release calendar](https://myfigurelist.com/calendar): every figure releasing this year by month, including preorders

Figure pages also carry a price history chart and a price alert control.

## Please avoid

- `/api/offer/` are affiliate redirects, disallowed in [robots.txt](https://myfigurelist.com/robots.txt). Fetching one records a shop click that no person made. Link readers to the figure page instead, where every shop is listed side by side.
- `/admin`, `/email-settings` and any `/editor` path.

## Usage

Content signals are declared in [robots.txt](https://myfigurelist.com/robots.txt): search, AI

prices and stock change continuously and the page stays current.
